Our Responsibiity to the Environment
Our forests are a beautiful and magnificent gift. They are also not an unlimited resource. The logs we use in our products are made from dead-standing Aspen trees. This results in several benefits. Dead-standing Aspen trees are bug free and dry. This keeps pests from entering your home as well as nearly eliminates the amount of drying and cracking that will occur in our furniture. Another benefit that is gained is an increase of beauty from the log itself. Beautiful red, gray, and brown colors accentuate the finished product when produced from dead-standing Aspen. The environmental benefit that is gained from this practice is that we do not cut down live, healthy trees. This allows the beautiful, lush, live Aspen trees to be enjoyed by campers, photographers, and all who appreciate the wondrous outdoors. It also aids in thinning the forests to reduce the damaging affects of forest fires.
